It is Annual General Meeting time again at the Launceston Art Society.  This year our meeting will be held at the Door of Hope, Glen Dhu Street, Launceston, on the 15th February, at 11am.  Due to Covid restrictions we will be unable to serve a luncheon this year, but hot and cold drinks and food are available at the Door of Hope onsite cafe.

The purpose of the AGM is to present yearly reports, elect committee members and appoint an auditor.  No other business will be conducted at the AGM, but if you have matters you would like to raise, they can be put forward for discussion at the Committee meeting following the AGM.  A few pointers regarding essential details:

• You must be a financial member to be able to vote.  Darren will take payments prior to the commencement of the meeting if you require.
• If you would like to nominate a person to a position you may use the online form - just click on the link to the right.
• The form will also be available through our newsletter, if you require a hard copy.
• Descriptions of the various positions and their duties will be posted in the newsletter.

The LAS is always very keen to have new committee members and/or office bearers, and if you have any interest in joining the wonderful team of volunteers who run your art society you would be very warmly welcomed.

Covid regulations require that we notify the venue of numbers, so if you are proposing to attend, please advise us on lasinternetters@gmail.com, prior to coming to the meeting.  Please do not attend if you have been, or are unwell, or have been in contact with any infectious persons or places.
