Over many years I have explored a variety of subjects and used different media for my expression, but I have always been attracted to painting landscapes.

Although I painted with oils for some time the problem with solvents pushed me into using acrylics – a medium I found to be exciting and versatile.

Whilst my work has been interpreted as “traditional” it moves into a contemporary impressionist style with emphasis on capturing the qualities of light and colour in the landscape.

I have exhibited and sold my work over many years with various galleries and exhibitions.

The end of a perfect day on Tasmania’s east coast. The sun has just slipped over the distant ranges. It is cooling fast and very still. The only sounds are the soft tones of the black swans as they settle before nightfall.
