The Launceston Art Society now has its home at the RSL building, 313 Wellington Street, South Launceston.
We currently have two artists running classes at the premises, Gerry Jensen on Tuesdays and Darren Meader on Fridays.
We have open days for our members to come along and use the facilities, paint and/or chat on Wednesdays.
Don't forget to put our SOUP & SANDWICH day in your diary -Thursday 14th October - $20 for members and $23 for non members.
Our big Open Day is Friday, 19th November with drinks and nibbles from 4pm.
It is Annual General Meeting time again at the Launceston Art Society. This year our meeting will be held at the Door of Hope, Glen Dhu Street, Launceston, on the 15th February, at 11am. Due to Covid restrictions we will be unable to serve a luncheon this year, but hot and cold drinks and food are available at the Door of Hope onsite cafe.
The purpose of the AGM is to present yearly reports, elect committee members and appoint an auditor. No other business will be conducted at the AGM, but if you have matters you would like to raise, they can be put forward for discussion at the Committee meeting following the AGM.
